Rob Artim
Managing Member / Registered Principal / Financial Advisor
I grew up in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb on the east side of Cleveland, where family and hard work shaped my foundation. My father, a proud veteran of the US Army and US Secret Service, later served our community as a police officer. My mother, a dedicated Registered Nurse, cared for patients for over 40 years. Together with my grandparents, they instilled in me timeless values:
- If you want something, you must work hard to earn it
- The reward for hard work is more work
- Life is a journey, not a destination
- And above all, always strive to do the right thing.
From a young age, I embraced these principles, managing multiple newspaper routes, mowing lawns and shoveling “snow belt” driveways in my neighborhood to contribute to my community and carve my own path forward. This drive carried me through my studies at THE Ohio State University, where I graduated in 2005 with a degree focused on personal finance and financial planning.
After graduation, I met Lance and Cindy, and we quickly became more than colleagues—we became family. Our shared passion for treating every client like family has been the cornerstone of our work. This commitment has fueled the growth of LA Financial Group over the past 15+ years. As our team expanded to include Laura and Jon, they seamlessly integrated into our family dynamic, strengthening our mission to prioritize a family chemistry and atmosphere in our office and with our clients. At LA Financial Group, our clients can always rely on us to put their best interests first, to guide them hand-in-hand through their financial journey, and to always treat them like family.
Family is the heartbeat of my life, both professionally and personally. My wife, Brynne, and I have built our family through adoption, welcoming our son, MacArthur (aka Mack), who is almost 3 years old. Mack’s passion for anything with an engine, his playful chases with our 5-year-old Bernedood, Archie, and his boundless energy keep our toes “vrooming”. Every day, Mack reminds me that “there’s joy and wonder everywhere when you see the world through the eyes of a child.”
